Asian mkts end in green; Hang Seng surges 375pts

Asian markets continued its gain for a second day,as a positive report from the world's largest chipmaker Intel Corporation forecasted for increase in consumer demand globally.

The Hang Seng gained 376 points at 18,261.

The Nikkei ended flat at 9,269.

The Sanghai Composite and the Taiwan Weighted advanced 43 points and 99 points (1.5% each) to 3,188 and 6,739 respectively.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite added 54 points and 35 points to 2,364 and 6,738, respectively.
