Appointment of Mehnaz Anjum as NICCI's Country Representative for India

The Nepal India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) is proud to announce the appointment of Mehnaz Anjum as its Country Representative for India — a seasoned international business professional and media strategist with over 13 years of experience building commercial bridges across global markets.

Based in New Delhi, Mehnaz brings with her a powerful track record in international revenue management, cross-border partnerships and multi-market business development. Her career has taken her across some of India's most influential media organisations — including TV18 Broadcast Limited, where she led international media revenue across the US, APAC and EMEA for channels including CNBC TV18, CNN NEWS18 and NBC Universal feeds — to senior roles in international content revenue generation and digital media monetisation.

An alumna of SIMCA, Pune, Ms. Mehnaz holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a dual specialisation in Marketing and Finance, awarded in 2011. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Commerce - Foreign Trade from DAVV Indore in 2009.

Mehnaz has worked extensively with government ministries, embassies, high commissions, international organizations, and leading corporate houses across India and overseas. Her expertise includes stakeholder engagement, business networking, market development, and cross-border collaboration.

Beyond media, Mehnaz brings a entrepreneurial perspective — she has ventured into sustainable agriculture through a hydroponic farming initiative and has worked on national and international event consulting projects, reflecting her commitment to innovation and cross-sector business development.

As Country Representative for India, Mehnaz will spearhead India-Nepal bilateral trade, open doors for businesses seeking to expand across both nations and bring fresh energy to NICCI's mission of cultivating meaningful economic collaboration between the two countries.

“It marks a significant milestone in NICCI’s institutional journey,” said NICCI President Sunil KC. “For the first time since the Chamber’s establishment, we are appointing a Country Representative in India, reaffirming our long-term commitment to strengthening the Nepal–India economic partnership. This appointment will serve as a dedicated bridge between businesses, investors, policymakers, and institutions of both countries, facilitating trade, investment, tourism, and industrial collaboration. As Nepal and India move towards deeper economic integration, NICCI remains committed to creating stronger business connectivity and expanding opportunities for the private sector on both sides of the border.”

Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter — both for Mehnaz and for the India-Nepal business community she is set to serve.
