The Nepal–India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) successfully held its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 15th October 2026 at The Everest Hotel, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The meeting brought together distinguished members, industry leaders, government representatives, and key stakeholders to review the Chamber’s achievements, celebrate over three decades of institutional engagement, and discuss priorities for strengthening Nepal–India economic cooperation. The AGM featured discussions on bilateral trade, investment promotion, energy cooperation, and the transition towards sustainable economies. It also marked a new chapter in NICCI’s leadership, with Mr. Kunal Kayal unanimously elected as President for the 2026–2028 tenure, alongside the newly elected Executive Committee. The meeting reaffirmed NICCI’s commitment to expanding economic frontiers and advancing trade, investment, and energy cooperation between Nepal and India.
